Drawing on the limited experience he has buying gifts for the women in his life, area man, Derek Cunningham, decided to play it safe and buy her the gift all girls seem to appreciate: the morning after pill.
“She’s 66 years old, I haven’t seen her and my father so much as kiss since 2012. However, I never see women happier than when I get back from Walgreens at 4am and hand over everyone’s favorite safety net. On the house. Now I get to see that happiness in the woman who means the most to me.”
Later, while serving dinner for her family, Karen Cunningham quietly wondered what her life could’ve been like had her husband gotten her this gift 24 years ago.
