Donald Trump Holds Candlelight Vigil For Real Estate Moguls Who Temporarily Lost Property Value After 9/11

PALM BEACH — Saying that the effects of 9/11 reached far wider than those who simply lost family and friends on that fateful day, Donald Trump reminded everyone that not all victims of the terrorist attack were in lower Manhattan.

“We gather here today,” Trump began before a roomful of geriatric tycoons, “to remember all of the beautiful architecture that was tarnished by smoldering ash, and all of the investment portfolios that took several months before recovering to their pre-9/11 values. Never forget that God gives His toughest battles to His strongest soldiers… professional landlords.”

He then talked about the audio clip of him celebrating that the 9/11 attack made his building the tallest in Manhattan, “The clip cuts out but I said,  ‘but what’s the point of having a building that touches the heavens if dead people can’t rent it from you?’ The media doesn’t want to show you that part, but it’s there.”

Trump then stuck the landing on his 10-minute speech that touched on everything from the 2020 election, Hunter Biden, and a new property opening in Dubai, by saying, “You can always find a new wife or two, you can always find someone to make more children, but you can’t go back in time and lowball George Steinbrenner when he was contemplating selling the Yankees in the latter part of 2001. Such a missed opportunity for me. Amen.”
